Libyan photographer born in Tripoli. He is Professor at Faculty of Medical Technology, Tripoli University, got his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Glasgow University , Scotland, UK.

 

5- 8th December 2011: First personal Photography exhibition by  Altaher Altabet in Art House in Tripoli, titled "Libya's Joy". This exhibition tells part of the story of the Libyan revolution (17th February 2011) and highlights the joy of victory that swept all Libyan cities after the victory of the revolution against tyrant and his bloody regime.

 

2013: Release my first Photographic book "The Joy of Libya" volume one published in Arabic and English language under the supervision of the Libyan Ministry of Culture and Civil Society, it is illustrated book highlights the joy of victory of the Libyan Revolution (17th of February 2011). Volume number two in print titled "The Joy of Libya: The joy of children through pictures".

 

10th December 2011: Participation with other Libyan photographers in Photography Exhibition on the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights in December 10, 2011 Hall of Art House, Tripoli under the auspices of the Phoenix organization for women.

 

24- 26th January 2012: Participation in Photography Exhibition "Horizon" organized by The Voice, Libyan Civil Society, Hall of Palace of the King, Tripoli.

 

24th October 2012: Second Personal Photography exhibition in hall of the National Center for Manuscripts and Historical Studies (formerly Libyan Jihad Center) on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Declaration of liberation of Libya from the despotic regime, Tripoli.

 

22th October 2012: Participate in photographic course organized by Libyan Society of Photography by giving lecture in "Macro Photography", Tripoli Old City, Tripoli.

 

1st December - 30th December 2012: Participate in the exhibition of The Sixth International saloon of photographic image of Monastir- Tunisia themed colors, which was held at the Cultural Center of Monastir, Monastir in Tunisia. The Saloon was the participation of 89 photographers from various countries around the world from Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Maldives, Tunisia.

 

19th April 2014: Lecture about Techniques of Macro Photography: Equipment and skills and how to photography insects, flowers and small objects to members of Libyan Photography Organization, Gargaresh, Tripoli- Libya.​
