Unknown species of Bagworm Caterpillar
I found this bagworm caterpillar (The Psychidae) in area of Maslata Natural Reserves, it is about 90 km East south of Tripoli- Libya, North Africa (see the map), it is big area as Natural protected wildlife managed by Libyan agriculture Ministry (Google map:), Friday 18 March 2016.This type of bagworm caterpillar huge in size about 5- 6 cm measurement of the bags, Caterpillar is bright colour in the head (orange head colour with dark brown spots) and rest of body black and white. I found that caterpillar feeds on wild plant with small yellow flowers as in picture. Photos taken in Maslata Natural Reserve, Maslata - Libya (32.612336, 13.830975).
Hairy Colodful Caterpillar
I found this hairy colorful caterpillar in area near Tripoli- Libya North Africa, in 25 December 2015,. I don't know which the plants feed by because I found it directly on sand, there is different wild plants on the area around. the branches seen in pictures to take photo only. Description of Caterpillar: orange to yellow hairy colours from head to tail, in the med of bodies there is strong red colours with strong blue spots seen in pictures.
