It is published biannually by the University of Tripoli, Tripoli- Libya. Is a peer- reviewed international journal that publishes articles of significance covering all areas of medical and pharmaceutical science in the form of original papers, reviews, short research communications and case reports. The journal aims to be the voice of the medical and pharmaceutical research activities in Libya.

Focus and ScopeThe Journal of Environmental studies (JES) is official journal sponsored by community and environmental sector, Sohag University, Sohag, Egypt.
The journal's scope is very broad including studies in the following fields:
1. Pollution, habitat degradation and land management
2. Applied and theoretical aspects of natural and social sciences in concern with the relationship between society and the life-supporting ecosystems upon which human well-being ultimately depends.
3. Abiotic factors affect on human health as well as on living organisms.
4. New ideas, theories, techniques and methods, and experiences related to plant and animal ecology as well as biodiversity.
