An environmental lecture on the management of medical waste was given by Dr Altaher Altabet at the ceremony held by faculty members at the Faculty of Medical Technology, University of Tripoli on World Environment Day (5 June 2014).

As contribution by Dr Altaher Altabet in the International Day of Nursing 2014, he give lecture titled "Medical waste management in Libya" in celebration organized by Libyan syndicate of medical professionals, Tripoli Branch. Theater of Tripoli Medical Center, Tripoli, 18 May 2014.
