Workshop in Shehat City 2019. In coordination with the General Authority for the Environment (Jebel al-Akhdar), a workshop was held entitled "Medical Waste and Pharmaceutical Waste: The Problem and the Treatment Strategy" presented by Prof. Dr. Altaher Altabet  on Sunday 3/3/2019 at the Municipality of Shehat City in Green Mountain.The workshop covered several points related to the management of medical waste in Libya and the management of pharmaceutical waste.

Two days a workshop by Dr Altaher Altabet concerning Medical Waste Management and pharmaceutical wastes was held in Sabratha City, west Tripoli under the supervision of the Environmental Attar Society, 6-7 December 2016 at the Libyan National Oncology Center, Sabratha- Libya.
